Kate Ramsey lives in Limerick and since 2006 has specialized in felted accessories and garments. She combines silk or cotton (both as fabric and unspun) with merino wool in order to create hand shaped and hand finished unique designs. The technique she uses is called feltmaking and involves working with wool under hot and moist conditions in a specific way to turn it into a durable, but soft and pliable fabric. All her work is hand dyed and thus very uniquely coloured
